This position provides direct systems engineering support to IC ITE Compliance activities. Engage and support the government's coordination, engineering, and technical interchange with IC Subject Matter Experts and technical counterparts in an effort to evaluate and receive concurrence in cross-IC mission work flow and mission use cases. Provide engineering services necessary to generate information and produce a Recommendation Report prior to Planning Stage (FY17) conclusion, which will enable the Government to understand and develop a viable, sustainable, and affordable approach that vectors current MPO tools and capability development toward the IC within the IC ITE concept as defined by ODNI. Expand analysis to include all projected tools, capabilities, and end-products that can provide end-user value. Leverage the information and deliverables from Planning Stage to further expand the scope of planning to include all future tools, capabilities, and end-products from across both MPO and the IC. Prepare an Implementation Stage Plan for the Government that includes technical factors, risk assessments, cost estimates, schedule projections, and a revised operations support strategy. Provide engineering services necessary to generate information and produce a Recommendation Report prior to the Implementation Stage in FY18 conclusion, that will the Government to envision future development, deployment, sustainment, and operational needs necessary to address ultimate IC ITE community goals, to include but not be limited to improving IT efficiency, enhancing mission effectiveness, and improving security.
Bachelor’s degree in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 20 years of general systems engineering experience, a Master’s degree or PhD in a qualified engineering field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 18 years of general systems engineering experience, or a high school diploma or GED with a minimum of 24 years of general systems engineering experience.
